Kep Crab

Ever since I have been in Cambodia people have been telling me how good Kep Crab is especially when served with Kampot pepper so of course one of the first things to do when visit Kep was to eat the crab.
So we caught a boat out to a nearby island for the day for a bit if relaxing and at lunch went to one of the shacks for a bit of local crab.....

Here is the waiter going out to get the crab that we ordered - thats how fresh it is!!

After a bit of struggling with the waves he came back with our lunch..

This is the lady in her shack who created the tasty dish...

and here it is - Tom Yam Crab and Crab with Kampot pepper...

And then it was gone.....

Absolutely delicious and the added benefit that Xenia discovered is that it kept me quite and busy for at least 45 mins - cracking those claws takes time - this was a benefit for Xenia as she discovered how bored I can get when just faced with sitting on a beach all day....!!
