Last week saw Cambodia celebrate Khmer New Year, so on came 3 days National Holiday. Just before everyone headed off on holiday and to their homelands to visit their families we held a celebration at Wat Nokor and a party at the Smile Kids Village for the trainees. Fun, food and laughter was had by all..
Lots of organised games and singing was planned so I decided to be the 'official photographer' which meant I couldn't take part - cunning I know!!
Sokkey and Nimet - 2 of the cooking trainees decided to dress up as traditional cambodian female dancers
Vichet was looking after the tunes.

Then the Cocktail stick and rubberband game came out.....you have to pass the rubber band along the line using just the toothpicks that you hold in your mouth.

Panha took over on the music and surprise surprise the first track he played was Bruno Mars - The Lazy Song. If you work closely with Panha, like I do you, would realise why this is comical as it is the song he is always singing and playing on his laptop - so as soon as I heard this song playing I looked over to the sound system and there was Panha grinning away.
The food that Pheakadey and Narong cooked was fantastic - a great bean and crab dish and a very yummy curry.
The lovely finance girls.
Jol Moi - Cheers
